The OFS 222 CNC contour cutting machine is used for dust free cutting of various geometric shapes in upholstery and furniture manufacture and in the automobile industry.

Materials which can be cut are polyurethane foams and laminated foam blocks.

The oscillating, precision ground cutting tool which is made of highly stable special steel has a life of approx. 100 hours. A special turning and guide support enabled constant turning of the blade around its point. Changing a blade takes a maximum of 5 minutes. Because the blades are delivered ready for use, grinding them in the machine is not necessary – this all adds to machine uptime and ensures goods are manufactured on time.

The control of the machine is by an industrial PC, which (as well as various other features) offers the possibility of saving over 1000 different cutting programs on the hard drive.

The simple, menu-operated user interface offers the following options (for example):

automatic sheet program

direct input of block size and automatic computation of unit number

memory effect if a blade should brake and emergency shutdown

permanent display of current position by the cursor on the colour monitor

service announcements
